It all started on a boat in 1999 and through an interesting start (to say the least, a horrible back issue, a few beers, a great supportive team and some very big ideas we are still here!
Our History– World of Yachting was launched in 2004 and was among the first online crew placement agency serving the global yachting community. Along with outfitting the boats with crew we outfitted their wardrobes as well! Through the years we have learned and listened and changed things up. We find great pleasure in helping to find people jobs (which we do for free) and we have so much fun customizing looks and creating a brand for each particular client. We offer silk screen and embroidery services. And have a great in house graphics department waiting to help you! We provide promotional products and linens and oh so much more….. the request we have heard though the years!
Company info– We work on our pieces in our offices in Ft. Lauderale, FL and we are proud to Manufacture locally in Miami. It allows us to be very hands on from start to finish and through the years, we have built strong relationships that are important to us. It is so important to us, especially with our custom pieces. Our Goals – A couple of years back, when we started producing our own line of products it occurred to us (as we have all worked in yachting previously), that yachting is not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. There is something to be said about being on the water, smelling the salt air, feeling the breeze blow or just sitting in a fabulous port watching a gorgeous sunset with a glass of bubbly. Either way, to us yachting has taught us a lot about the world, introduced us to things and cultures that have soared our imaginations. We all know where to get your plain black and white dress clothes, but our goal was always to add in the fun, effortless, chic style of the industry with the utmost attention to detail and quality and most of all the ultimate service.
